The Item Trends page is a tool to visualize the sales trends of your items.
The Trend report can be customized by SKU or ASIN using the green filter button, as seen in the screenshot below:
The default view for the trends page is four months, but that can be changed using the 2 drop-downs on the top of the page. The first drop-down is the number of historic data columns and the second drop-down gives the option to display the information broken down by day, week or month.
The Sparkline is a small graph that shows the historic sales data for each item broken down by the filter applied. As the information on the on the main graph line is limited to 4 data points, use the blue plus button to display all of the information.
Item Trend and Monthly Breakdown
The item trend column in the screenshot above tells you right away how your item is doing based on the monthly sales trend. The arrows next to the numbers in the last 4 columns are as follows: a single green arrrow indicates that sales are up 1 time period, 2 green arrows indicates that sales are up 2 time periods. A single red down arrow indicates that sales are down one month, two red down indicates that sales are down 2 or more time periods.
